We have now completed the first week of our first blogging challenge.I enjoyed the blogging challenge because we got to have more people visit our blog. This week I visited several other kids blogs.Out of all the blogs that I looked at, some blogs that stand out were by Georgia and Claudia, George, and Georgia. What I liked about Georgia and Claudia’s blog was that they had there blog organized even though they had to share it. What I liked about George’s blog is that it had a lot of good, descriptive detail. Lastly, what I liked about Georgia’s blog was that it had a lot of pictures and colors so that you would want to read ahead. Overall, all of the blogs were really good! Also, the blogging challenge was exciting because we got to look at other peoples blogs. Here is the link for the blogging challenge, http://studentchallenge.edublogs.org/.
The theme of a novel is often expressed through lessons the protagonists learn. In The Giver, Jonas learns that life isn’t only know and only him. Jonas learns that life includes before and after which form a river. The theme of The Giver is that life is like a river. We form the river and as we change the river turns. Jonas, I have realized that my life is like a river too because I am like all those before me.
I am quarter Danish and a quarter Norwegian from my family. I have the background of Christianity and the Jewish religion. I am from television production and a lawyer who care for me dearly. I am from Dad’s Root beer by my grandpa, Gerry, who helped developed it. I am from a huge farm in Iowa with my grandparents. I am a family who drives up to Mammoth every weekend to ski. I am a little sister who gets picked on by my older sisters. I am a reader of the Hunger Games. I will continue to visit and help my family. I will proceed to be a teacher from my grandma.
One of my best qualities is being happy even when things don’t go my way. For example, when I fall in a ski race I like to just get back up and look ahead to see what’s to come. Being happy makes people around you more cheerful. Also, when you are joyful people want to be around you more often. It is important to be happy if you want to have an excellent life.

For my future I would like to be a first grade teacher. Being a teacher in my real job and my fantasy job is a professional skier. I have always wanted to be a teacher and hopefully will be able to soon. After teaching for five years I would like to become a third grade teacher at the same school. In a year I wil get married and move to Tennessee to be a teacher there.
For my dream job I would be a professional skier in racing. I would do all racing which is slalom, GS, Super G, and downhill. In all of those races I would like to do first. I would like to go first in everyones including the boys. I hope I get to do both. I will ski in New Zealand in our summer and teach the rest of the year.
My ideal community would be full of peaceful, loving people! We would all be friends and hang out! We wouldn’t have any drugs or cigarettes, we wouldn’t be bad leaders, and many more! We would have good jobs, care about others, and many more! If we had drugs or cigarettes we wouldn’t be good examples for our children. Also, if we smoke there would be second hand smoking which could kill people. An example of some good things we would want is to care about others because your family or you wouldn’t want to get bullied. If they care about others they would do kind things for you. If you have a good community there will be no problems for you!
